Dr. Callahan recently passed the written portion of the Board Certification for Internal Medicine! This certification is required every ten years. As many of you already know, your health is in good hands with Dr. Callahan, and the American Medical Association agrees.

Additionally, Dr. Callahan was invited to be an expert in health information technology at a recent conference held here in Syracuse, presented by the Medical Society of the State of NY.

Regarding living wills, if you don't have one, you should get one!  It won't cost you anything, and it's as easy as visiting the  New York State Bar Association's Living Will form and the New York State Attorney General's Health Care Proxy form by clicking on the links.  We can't stress how important these documents are.  They will help your loved ones make difficult decisions about your health care should you be unable to do so, and you can rest easy knowing your wishes will be carried out.
